Why this exists
Many posts on the major boards are recycled, already filled, or never actively read. There is no straightforward way to tell whether a listing is live before you invest effort in an application.
Mid-career and senior professionals are usually employed while they search. Ten to fifteen hours a week of methodical job-board scanning is not realistic alongside work and family.
Professionals relocating to the UAE, and expat spouses entering the market for the first time, do not yet know which companies are hiring, which recruiters cover their sector, or which platforms are credible.
What we do
Anyone can set up a job alert. Haven People does the work a job alert cannot: human filtering, legitimacy checking, context gathering and relevance judgement. Every opportunity in a report is there because it belongs there.
We search across your stated role title and a defined set of adjacent titles, guided by your career direction rather than your job title alone. Adjacent roles are only included where the scope, seniority and industry are genuinely transferable.

The ‘up to 5’ promise
Each delivery contains up to five opportunities that have passed our research and relevance criteria. You may receive fewer in a given week if the market genuinely does not yield five strong matches against your criteria.
We would rather deliver three excellent matches than five weak ones. The ceiling of five is a quality control, not a limitation — it means every opportunity you receive is worth your time, and you spend no energy filtering out poor matches.
The question we ask of every opportunity before including it is not whether we found five. It is whether you would genuinely want to spend time applying to this role.
The Verified Opportunity Standard
A verified opportunity is a vacancy assessed against your career criteria and checked for current availability, role relevance, employer credibility and application pathway at the time of research.
Is the core function aligned with your target role, with adjacent functions considered appropriately?
Does the role match your experience level — not too junior, not realistically out of reach?
Does the company operate in your target sector, or one closely adjacent where skills transfer?
Is the role based in your target location — UAE, a specific emirate, or remote-eligible as agreed?
Where salary is stated, does it fall within your range? Does the contract type match your preference?
Is the employer a credible organisation with a traceable presence, and one you would realistically apply to?
Does this role represent a sensible next step in your stated career trajectory?
Has the posting appeared recently, or does it remain demonstrably active at time of research?
Is there a clear route to apply — a link, a careers page, or a contactable recruiter?
Verified means checked at the time of research. Roles can and do close between the point of research and your application, so we do not guarantee a vacancy remains open after delivery.
How it works
You complete the Haven People intake questionnaire: target role, adjacent titles you would accept, industry, location, seniority, salary range, must-haves and deal-breakers.
We research across job boards, direct company career pages, and specialist industry sources, including adjacent role titles where your career direction supports it.
Every result is assessed against the Verified Opportunity Standard. Poor matches, ghost jobs and irrelevant listings are removed before the report is assembled.
Company and people intelligence is compiled to the depth your package defines, then the shortlist is reviewed for coherence and relevance.
Your report arrives as a branded Haven People PDF on the agreed schedule — once for Starter, every Monday for the monthly packages.
On monthly packages, your optional feedback adjusts the search criteria, adjacent titles and company preferences from Week 2 onwards.
